Visual Inspection and labelling solutions
The Visual Inspection and labelling system are automatic machines suitable to inspect filled vials.
They are stand-alone units to be placed inside the working area of hot cells.
VI is available in different models starting from the inspection unit only, to the version with a integrated labelling unit, up to the version with an additional printing and labeling system that can be integrated into a technical compartment of the hotcell.
Stand-alone unit for inspection in Class A environment of pre-labelled vials – for all hot cells on the market.
VI is composed by its relative stand-alone unit to be placed inside the hot cell on the main working area.
Stand-alone unit for inspection and labelling of vials in Class A environment – for all hot cells on the market.
VI+ is composed by its relative stand-alone unit complete with the labelling system to be placed inside the hot cell on the main working area.
Integrated unit for inspection of vials in Class A environment, with an additional system for printing labels and vials labelling. The printer and labelling unit are positioned in a not classified technical area integrated in the hot cell.
Suitable only for Tema Sinergie hot cells, to be discussed with Tema Sinergie Technical Department during quotation phase.
The labelling unit is completely removable to allow an easier label tape substitution and an easier maintenance.
The labels must be pre-printed and then placed on the labelling unit. This operation can be done in a not classified area before installing the labelling unit in the VI+ inside the Class A hot cell.
NOTE: when the labelling unit installation is done, it is necessary to decontaminate the Class A area before starting the daily work, according to the SOP.
The Visual Inspection is equipped with:
– internal shielded camera, to visualize the vial during the rotating and inspection process.
– external monitor, to view and inspect the vial. This monitor can be mounted on the swinging arm of the hot cell fully accessible for the operator.
The amount of radiation dose absorbed by the operators is minimized by using Tema Sinergie Visual Inspection models.
They are fully VPHP cycle compatible.
Thanks to a very high level of the electronics, all models can perform a vial inspection in less than 60 seconds.
The resolution of the image displayed on the external monitor is granted by the high quality of the components.
VI and VI+ have very compact dimensions that make them suitable for use in various GMP-compliant laminar air flow hot cells. They are totally independent from the hot cell and work connected to their PC and monitor.
Power supply and compressed air are the only requirements for operation.
Thanks to their compact dimension it is very easy to retrieve the main units of VI, VI+ and VI++ from the hot cell for any maintenance operation. A VPN connection (at customer charge) is mandatory: it is necessary for the operator’s training follow up, updates and remote maintenance. A remote service by phone (help desk) is available for support and assistance to the user.
