Wash In Place

The containment isolator can be equipped with spray pistols for manual washing operations.

All components are suitable for WFI (Water For Injection) use.

The main components of the distribution circuit are the following (each chamber): pneumatically operated On/Off membrane valves, 1” TC pneumatically operated On/Off sanitary tank bottom drain valves, manual spray pistols made of plastic materials (nozzles made of stainless steel AISI 316L).

Tubing can be made of stainless steel AISI 316L, and joined by complete penetration welds or made with flexible piping made of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).

Given the big amount of potentially dangerous powder handled into the isolated environment, in addition to the above described WIP, a dedicated automatic washing system can also be provided for an accurate cleaning of the environment itself.

In this case, the isolator chambers are equipped accordingly with a suitable number of spray nozzles for automatic washing operations.

Dedicated washing formulas will be managed by the isolator PLC, that also operates the activation of every single nozzle.

The circuit is automatically dryed at stop cycle with compressed air, in order to avoid undesired microbiological growths.

Fully automatic Clean-In-Place (CIP) can be also supplied upon customer request.
